Most of my boards us 2764 eproms, and I have started to use the 28= C64 EEProms. This is great. No more UV erasing, and the programming time is r= eally quick. This method is great for reviving an old board that may require= multiple edit/program cycles.Now to find more 27c64 and 27C256 EEProms that= don=E2=80=99t cost so much (12-20 each is too much).

Thanks also for the update on your serial adapter doodad success. &n= bsp;I think you are operating on another level and getting more use out of t= hem than most. I don=E2=80=99t think a lot of people see their utilit= y. Maybe leave comments in some of the videos with a description of your suc= cess and code.

I too have a new multibus card tha= t seems undocumented from intel so it must have been an engineering pr= ototype. I got a pair of them 8080 based. I was going to do a video on= using the serial doodad, maybe people just don=E2=80=99t get the concept. &= nbsp;Maybe low level diagnostics on old timey hardware is just dying out.

This board is a Multibus Z80 with 8K Prom and 56K dynamic ram t= hat I got for $22 from ebay. No schematics, (and no onboard serial port) but= realizing the prom must be at 0 to boot, the ram search code was placed the= re and
Showed 56K ram and where it was addressed. Then I ported your SBC-8= 5 confidence code, with the driver I wrote to use the prom adapter for seria= l i/o (CI/CO routines) and your confidence code now has another home on the b= oard.

I am looking to revive another multibus 4 port serial card us= ing the Signetics SCN2651 serial interface and plan on the confidence code u= sing this board for serial i/o.
