Hi Craig

That's very helpful. It's good to know the tantalum caps are a perfect fit.
I was advised that the wires on both sides were of limited length. I can
see now why the person at Anchor didn't provide the overall length of the
part. As you know, the service at Anchor is second-to-none. I'm sure the
parts match the list I ordered (I had to drop one of the resistor network
types I had listed, having mis-read the terse description).

The other parts are all going to be useful.

I'm still working on assembly of the boards - getting close to installing
ICs in the sockets.

My recent soldering has produced a Tauntek LogICTester (limited range of
parts, but fine for those it supports) and a (third) Retro Chip Tester Pro
- which has routines to check a huge list of parts, but on a 'go/no-go'
basis. I have a 1702A reader for the RCT - and some additional adapter
boards from JLCPCB if these would be useful for you. These are readers for
1702A, 2708 and a breakout adapter as well as a SIMM/SIPP adapter. And I
have spare boards for the Tauntek device - in dark blue - if you would like
one.

Regards

Jon
