Thank You for including the alignment= fixture. I am only using the serial port for now as I haven=E2=80=99t received all t= he parts from Mouser and ebay. The firmware is iSDK_85+ version 2.1. The only change I made was to jmp to = the tty monitor regardless of the state of the RIM value. (in the label RES= 10 the JC was changed to JMP) When looking at the SOD line with digital scope (logic) there are framing e= rrors on every byte transmitted with the terminal set to 2400 baud. After reviewing the bit timing on the scope, 1 bit time is 0.531 ms which i= s 1/0.531ms =3D 1883 baud. And I now have a signon message =E2=80=9CSDK-85+= VER 2.1=E2=80=9D. Not sure where that came from, but I will continue to r= eview the code and the hardware to see where that is. I suspected a baud ra= te issue to start, but had to get smart enough to check the bit timing on t= he scope to prove my idea.
