Is it expecting something besides Intel hex?

If you are using my hex files, I frequently put RAM reservations first. I k= now some programmers can=E2=80=99t handle blocks that go in a memory locatio= n other than the one being programmed.

More robu= st programming software knows to ignore blocks that are outside of range

Also, it may be expecting an o= ffset correction if the file has code start anyplace other than 0x0000

I did. Ev= erything passes the hardware test and can read 8748 and the 8755 I got from y= ou. Opening a hex file for writing is another story.

It complains about l= ines over length, file is too big for the device. (0x07FF is 2K and the hex f= ile does not exceed this)

Did you have any luck with this?

I plan o= n contacting him after a few more tests, but wanted see if you had better re= sults than I did.
