- a printable file with the data recovered can be provided to your museum,
- we could suggest repositories of computing material to which you might forward the recovered programs: documentation of Intel's early systems is scarce.

The software needs a black background to identify the holes. There should be an overlap between images to enable adjacent sections to be combined. If the images are saved as JPG files (with a low level of compression), any blank areas around the tape will contribute little to the file size. Filenames should indicate the order in which images were captured.

Note: paper tapes often contain oils and are more robust than the paper used in laser printers. The tapes were expected to be read multiple times. The tape should remain as a single length and should not be separated at the folds.
