I confess that I've never delved into exactly how a system with multiple 
modules would work.  I know the 7220 could connect to multiple modules 
and each module requires a set of the other five support chips.  The 
schematic for the BPK didn't look like it would be all that easy to 
expand to multiple modules, so I figured it would be pretty 
complicated.  But if that's something do-able it gets my vote.  Fdos can 
support up to 8 drives - at least it's supposed to.  That's one aspect I 
haven't tested - there wasn't anything to test with.  It looks like 
additional MBM modules could appear as additional disk units, each with 
its own bitmap and directory, which would be the simplest approach.
